PROJECT WIGGLES......
As car enthusiastes go, you will never meet a more dedicated and devoted person than David "Wiggles" Wigley. A sales Exec at County Motor Works Chelmsford, David has been lovingley restoring a 1972 Triumph Herald 1360 in Valencia Blue. He purchased the car 6 yrs ago for the small price of £500 in a very sorry state, now after many years of tender loving care and alot of man hours it is ready for it's first run which David has been planning for the last year. His destination Beaulieu National Motor Museum (if the car gets that Far) David's words not mine.......I asked David if he would ever attempt to do a project like this again? and after a pause of about 30 seconds he refused to comment which to me obviousley means YES.
After probing for a bit longer David gave in and told me he has just purchased a 1972 Alfa Sud S1 for an undisclosed sum.
I would like to wish him many more years of HAPPY restoration and can't wait to see the finished article, if the Herald is anything to go by it should be worth the wait.
